Signify NZ engaged NZITG to deliver the networking and smart lighting automation for Mainfreight’s large Auckland warehouse facility. The objective was to support a modern lighting system that enhances visibility, streamlines energy usage, and enables intelligent control across the warehouse environment.
Scope of Works
NZITG worked alongside Signify (Philips Lighting NZ), who managed the physical installation of high-performance LED luminaires. Our team was responsible for implementing the smart infrastructure and ensuring seamless system automation.
Our role included:

Installing and configuring the network to support the Interact Industry smart lighting platform

Integrating Interact controls across key warehouse zones

Custom programming to automate lighting based on occupancy, natural light levels, and operational schedules

Enabling centralised remote access and real-time performance monitoring
