Fisher & Paykel – Interact Automation Integration

Project Overview

NZITG was engaged by Signify (Philips Lighting NZ) to deliver the networking infrastructure and smart lighting system configuration for a major lighting upgrade at one of Fisher & Paykel’s industrial sites. The project aimed to enhance on-site visibility, improve energy efficiency, and enable intelligent lighting control aligned with Fisher & Paykel’s operational standards.

Scope of Works

While Signify handled the supply and installation of the LED luminaires, NZITG was responsible for implementing the smart backbone of the system—ensuring reliable connectivity and tailored automation through the Interact Industry platform.

Our responsibilities included:

  • Installing and configuring the network infrastructure to support Interact smart lighting controls

  • Integrating Interact Industry lighting controls across key operational zones

  • Custom programming of lighting automation based on occupancy detection, daylight levels, and usage patterns

  • Enabling remote monitoring, system control, and energy performance tracking via the Interact dashboard

Technologies Used

  • Interact Industry by Signify – a powerful lighting control platform offering automation, zoned control, and real-time analytics

  • Philips High Bay LED luminaires – installed by Signify, designed for high-efficiency performance in demanding industrial environments
