Project Overview

NZITG was engaged to deliver a high-efficiency lighting upgrade for Cotton On’s large-scale warehouse facility. The primary goal was to enhance visibility and operational safety while significantly reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.

Scope of Work

The project involved a full retrofit of the warehouse’s existing high bay lighting system. NZITG worked alongside Signify (Philips Lighting NZ) to supply and install cutting-edge LED luminaires equipped with integrated smart controls.

Key components of the project included:

  • Installation of Philips High Bay LED lights optimised for large industrial spaces

  • Integration of Interact Industry smart lighting controls to enable zoned lighting, occupancy detection, and daylight harvesting

  • Custom programming to automate light levels based on usage patterns and operational hours

  • Energy performance monitoring to track savings and efficiency post-installation

  • Interact Industry by Signify – a smart lighting platform enabling data-driven lighting control, remote access, and real-time energy reporting
